The general medical paternalism that does not require the patient to be female, disabled, or neurodivergent for the dismissal to occur.

This wing is the baseline. The other wings show what happens when the baseline is intensified on specific populations. The artifacts collected here, when complete, will document the general medical posture: patient knowledge framed as anecdotal, patient records held as institutional property, patient questions routed back through institutional calendars, patient symptoms re-described in clinical vocabulary the patient did not choose.

Three galleries are planned. The Hall of Patient Knowledge as Anecdotal. The Record as Institutional Property. Informed Consent as Document Rather Than Conversation. Each will open with three to four exhibits and expand as acquisitions arrive.

The wing opens lighter than its companions by design. The lighter opening is a curatorial admission that the substrate is too broad for a single curator to do alone. The wing's growth depends on submissions from clinicians, patients, historians, and journalists who hold the artifacts the wing needs.
